Red Lines attend 4-5 regional competitions every year. Competitions will be held in various locations from Bismarck to Duluth. Nationals is required every other year, it will be required in the 2021-2022 year. One dance convention is required and other conventions are also recommended for dancer growth. For location and additional details, email our Competition Coordinator.

Emails are our main form of communication. Parents and dancers will be made aware of important dates, meetings, rehearsals and other necessary information ahead of time. Communication must be consistent between parents, dancers and the Competition Coordinator, Macy.

Drama creates weakness. We want to avoid drama and have a strong team. Dancers and Parents are expected to abide by our Member & Parent Code of Conduct. Both lack of communication and issues regarding the code of conduct could result in dismissal from a team. Should a dancer choose to leave the competition team at any point throughout the year, no refunds will be offered.

In addition to weekly scheduled competition team classes/rehearsals, extra rehearsals are occasionally scheduled in the spring to prepare for upcoming competitions and/or performances. It is mandatory for all Company members to attend, or they will not be eligible to perform at competition.

If a dancer misses rehearsals the week of competition, she/he will not compete at the competition. Excused absences in this instance are only excused by the Competition Coordinator, Macy. Extra practices are scheduled in advance, but sometimes we may schedule them with only a week's notice if the instructors feel it is necessary to hold the extra rehearsal.

Competition Teams perform at many different events throughout the year. We love our Fargo-Moorhead community & showcasing our love of dance and the arts! We have performed at Basketball half-times, Barnes and Noble, in parades, West Acres Mall, Candy Cane Carnival, multiple NDSU events, the Competition Team Showcase (every other year), and the recitals in December and May.
