BEYOND DANCE
Beyond Dance is Red River Dance’s adaptive and inclusive dance program designed to make movement and dance accessible for participants with a variety of abilities and support needs.
Classes are offered for ages 3–6, 7–10, 11–14, and 15+, and are free for participants with disabilities or special needs.
Our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where every dancer can learn, grow, move, and have fun. Families are encouraged to share accommodation or support needs in advance so we can thoughtfully plan and support each dancer’s success within our program structure.
Because every dancer’s needs are unique, we encourage participants to attend with a support person, helper, or caregiver when additional individualized assistance or communication support may be beneficial.
We believe dance is for everyone and that movement, music, and connection can help individuals build confidence, creativity, coordination, and community in ways that go far beyond the classroom.
DRESS CODE
Participants should wear comfortable clothing they can easily move in. Options may include athletic wear, leotards, skirts, leggings, tennis shoes that are not worn outside, ballet slippers, or jazz shoes — whatever your dancer feels most comfortable and confident in!
